St. Gregory the Great died today in the year 604.  He was pope from 590 to his death.  St. Gregory came from a wealthy Roman family.  Much of his correspondence and writings have survived, including sermons, the Commentary on Job, Rule for Pastors, and letters.

27 x $580 = $15,660  approximately

 

Payments:

January 21, 2011:  $100/person = $2700 

June 10, 2011: $200/person = $5400

Aug. 26, 2011:  Final payment – approx. $7560

 

Leave November 16, 2011 at midnight and return November 20th

 around noon.

We will be receiving a $500 donation from ICC Altar Society.  They said they will donate more at a future date if needed.

PGC Workshop PDF Print

Anyone who will be working with children in our parish cluster of Ellinwood, Claflin, and Odin are required to attend a Protecting God's Children Session.  There will be a session held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 6-9pm at Holy Family School, 4200 Broadway, Great Bend.  For more information, please contact the Ellinwood parish office at 564-2534.

St. Joseph Parish High School PSR will have its first class on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 7:00pm at the Rectory.  Mr. Zack Vogel is the new DRE and will be assited by Mrs. Lori Thomas, Mrs. Kim Schartz, and Mrs. Angie Maddy.
