St. Joseph elementary Parish School of religion"s goal is to provide the essentials of the Catholic faith. Areas that are covered consist of learning prayers, understanding the Mass, becoming familiar with the Bible, learning the seven sacraments, knowing the Ten Commandments, and applying the Catholic Faith to everyday living. In the second grade emphasis is on the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist. At present Confirmation is a two year preparation program so that this sacrament is studied in the seventh and eight grades.
