The Scrip Program - formerly known as the grocery certificate program - is a painless way to earn money for St. Joseph Catholic School. In the 2015-2016 fiscal year, SJCS profited $15,944.42 through the scrip program.
Scrip is a term which means "a certificate to be exchanged for goods." When you purchase Scrip, you receive either a paper certificate or a gift card. These certificates or gift cards can then be used just like cash at the participating retailer. The retailers in the program are Ellinwood Family Foods, Dillon's, and Wal-Mart. We earn between 4 and 5 percent from these retailers through the sale of Scrip at no extra cost to you.
Scrip can be purchased at the school or church office, before and after weekend Masses, and at the homes of several parishioners. For a listing of homes where scrip can be purchased, check the "Scrip Program" document under School Files. Participate in the Scrip Program and support St. Joseph Catholic School!
