I have lived in Ellinwood my whole life.  I attended Barton Community College earning my Associates of Science, and then Newman University where I received my Bachelors in Education. 

 

After completing my schooling, I taught in Lyons (2nd grade) for 1 year before teaching at St. Joseph.  I have taught grades 4 and 5 for most of the time, but have also taught middle school for a couple of years. 

 

I currently live east of Ellinwood on a farm with my husband, Josh, two children, Lexi and Remi, and all our animals!  My hobbies include coaching and playing volleyball, chasing around my kids in their activities, and hunting.  I would rather read books than watch any television!

 

My reason for teaching is to help children and make an impact in their lives.
