My name is JoAnn Gaunt and I grew up in Great Bend, Kansas.  I attended Grace Academy (now CKCA) in elementary and middle school, and I graduated from Great Bend High School. I attended college at FHSU and graduated with a BA in music. I later returned to get a MS in education.

My husband Kobus is a farmer and he is an immigrant from South Africa.  I have two daughters, Hannah & Lydia and a son Jacob.

This will be my 12th year of teaching.  I taught for 8 years at Holy Family School in Great Bend, followed by teaching Vocal Music at Great Bend Middle School for three years.

I love teaching elementary music and I hope to get lots of students to love music for a lifetime.
