Elementary PSR

St. Joseph elementary Parish School of religion's goal is to provide the essentials of the Catholic faith. Areas that are covered consist of learning prayers, understanding the Mass, becoming familiar with the Bible, learning the seven sacraments, knowing the Ten Commandments, and applying the Catholic Faith to everyday living. In the second grade emphasis is on the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist. At present Confirmation is a two year preparation program so that this sacrament is studied in the seventh and eight grades.

High School PSR

St. Joseph High School Parish School of Religion"s goal is to teach Christian principles to our students, that they may reflect God"s light in this world. To plant seeds of discipleship in efforts to grow great followers of Christ. We pray that through this group, each student will: (1) Be educated about Christ and their Catholic faith.  (2)  Be so inspired by this knowledge they seek a personal, intimate, relationship with Christ. (3) Through this relationship, and the fellowship with other Christians, each student may come to know their gifts/calling/charism. (4) Take time to develop the gifts that God has placed within them. (5) Utilize these gifts to show the light of Christ in the world. Students interested in joining may come to any class. Class is open to all denominations of high school youth.  Parents with any comments, questions, or concerns may contact the church office, 620-564-2534 or email DRE, Emily Staton.
